World Music Festival is a unique concept and will take Udaipur to another level on the international map, said Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje on Saturday while attending the event.
CM Vasundhara Raje was the chief guest of the inaugural function of the 2 day long music festival organised at the ground of Railway training school.
By giving her blessing Raje further said that the event will also be proved as a milestone in Udaipur’s History of music.She highlighted that these sort of festivals is necessary for our county to get a place in the field international music.
Raje also hopped that by performing during the 2 day event the artists from various countries will set a new example of brotherhood and also helps in developing healthy relations between different nations.Beside that this event will emerge as an annual event for all the international and national tourist countary will mark it as an annual event in their calendars.
While addressing the crowd at Railway training school CM said that World Music festival is an important tool of encouraging tourism and the government it self is focusing on tourism these days, CM added.
A number of renowned international artist has performed during festival and has mesmerized the huge number of people that has gathered there to enjoy world music.
On the first of the festival the Grammy award winner Dobetnahour of Africa and Raghu Dixit of Fusion band of India has performed on the stage and had made the atmosphere melodious.
Various renowned personalities consisting of Home Minister Gulab Chand Kataria,Udaipur Rural MLA Phool Singh Meena,Director of Wonder Cement Vivek Patni,Shailendra Agerwal of Tourism Department and District Collector Rohit Gupta were present at the event.
