Women empowernment and self-defence camp launched by police in Udaipur.

To ensure the safety of women and to make them equppied to be self confident and to bring the graph of crime against women the Udaipur police on the directions of Police Head Quarter  have launched the Woman Safety and Self-Defence Camp at Udaipur on the first day of the year 2020.

Any girl above 13 years of age whether she is school girl or working woman or women associated with any educationanl institute can get enrolled to the center.

The 7 day camp has been inaugurated on Wednesday at Police Commiunity Hall by Inspector General of Police Udaipur Range Binita Thakur while she was accompanied by Sp Kailash Chandra Bishnoi Additional Sps, Dysps and SHOs of several police station circles of the district.

I.G Thakur said during this camp the women will be trained to be confident and to protect themself in any adverse situation,the training will be held two phases Indoor and Outdoor training sessions, which will include few styles of Marshal Art and other self defence techniques for the women”.

This will continue for 7 days and will be extended further depending upon the strenght of the perticipants, Thakur added.
The training camp will headed by Dysp Chetna Bhati and the perticipants will trained by 8 professionals including private individuals and policemen, Thakur added.
