By taking a unique step towards the women empowernment district collector Udaipur and Inspector General of Police Udaipur Range has announced to provide free of cost training to all the widows and STSc girls appearing in upcoming Constable Recurtment Examination.
The 45 days long training camp has been launched on Monday by the I.G Binita Thakur and district collector Anandi at city’s Guru Govind Singh Senior Secondary school in collebration with Anushka Acadmey and My Class NGO.
While adressing the crowd I.G Thakur said”Our initiative will be successful when maximum number of candidates amongst you will got selected and will serve the police department in future,the work of police of responsibility and decipline, seeing that we have initiated the camp to provide a respectful position to these women the society and to make them self dependent”.
She also added that besides the trainers the senior officials of the police department too will visit the camp and will help them during the camp.
On the occasion district collector Anandi said”Administration is giving a opportunity to them but now it will be their responsibility to train hard and to serve the department honestly if got selected, no woman should feel alone or feel weak as the administration will always support them, they should give their best performance and prove themselves,various administrative and police officials will share experiences with the candidates perticipating in the training camp”.
Additional district collector Sanjay Sharma informed that 90 women has enrolled to the camp including 19 widows,19 divorced women and 52 Stsc girls.
Various other officials including Deputy Sp Chetna Bhati, District Education Officer Shiv Gaur,Deputy Director of Women Empowernment Department Sanjay Joshi,Rajiv Surana of Anushka Academy and representatives of various social associations and NGOs remain present.
