UIT Patwari held by ACB Special Unit for bribery.

The Special Unit of Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Friday nabbed a UIT Patwari red handed with bribe amount of Rs.7000.

Additional Sp ACB Surendra Singh Bhati said that Patwari Ramakant Meena a resident of Akashwani colony of HiranMagri area was nabbed by the ACB team on the complaint of one Ram Singh Shekhawat a resident of Sector.14 ,Goverdhan Villas who approched the ACB team and allegdly that tje accused was demanding bribe of Rs.7000 for mutation of his land.

The complainent  told ACB that he has bought a piece of land at Indra Nagar on his wife Suman’s in January 2019, after registration he applied for mutation of the land, but the accused  demanded Rs.10000 by saying that if he want to open the mutation on his name than he has to pay the demanded amount.

Later the amount was negotiated to Rs.7000,after verifiying the complaint the ACB team on Friday laid a trap and nabbed accused red handed from his office situated near Central Jail Udaipur.

According to Bhati the accused has become Patwari in 2012 and is posted at 3rd Office of UIT since 2018.

He has been booked under sections of Anti Corruption ACT and is now under interrogation.
