Udaipur’s Handball player will reperents India at London.

Koshik Jain a 17 year old boy of Udaipur has is all set to head towards London to play Handball in India’s Handball team.

Koshik a class 12th commerce student of St. Anthony’s Senior Secondary School of Udaipur has regularly represented his school’s Handball team un various tournaments since class 6th and have won laurels, apart from sports he also academics and always scored good marks, School Principal William D’souza told DU.

D’souza further said that the game has been introduced in the school by Bhanwar Singh Chauhan anf later under the guidence of PTI Virendra Singh Rathore the Kuashik who always remained an outstanding handball player was groomed to achieve the goal.

Koshik will head to Delhi on 19th August to join the camp of Indian Handball team, there he will attain the practise sessions with the team between 20th to 28th August and then will proceed to London to perticipate in the 6 days Internationa Handball Camp being orgsnised held from 1st to 6th September.

While talking to DU Koshik said” I had been a sports lover, i regularly practised but it was our school’s coach of Handball Virendra Sir who always motivated me to achieve the target”.

“At first i represented my school team on District level, than i moved on to State Level.Considering the good performance at the State Level i finally got selected in National Level Handball Camp at Delhi,later i got call for a trial in the Indian Handball Team and after 2 days i got  finally selected”,said Koshik.
