Two vendors arrested with country made pistols,live bullets in Udaipur.

A joint team of Pratap Nagar police station and Special Operation Group (SOG) on Wednesday evening arrested two vegetabe vendors with country made pistols.police has also recovered 2 country made pistols and 6 live bullets from thier custody.

According to Additional SP SOG Siddhanth Sharma the accused identified as  Guddu Kashyp hail from Mainpuri area of Uttar Pradesh and resides in Bhopalpura area of Udaipur while another accused identified as Pawan Sharma a resident of Sadbhav Nagar locality of Pratap Nagar area.

The team of police got a tipoff that both the accused who use to sell vegetables were possessing illegal weapons and were looking out for someone at Sindhi Bazar area, acting upon the information the police team was dispatched to the scene and nabbed both the accused with illegal ammunation,said Additional Sp.

SOG Inspector Abdul Rehman said that during the course of preliminary interrogation the accused revealed that Guddu use to sell vegetabes and other eatbles (Channa Chor Garam) at the banks of Lake Fatah Sagar while Pawan use to sell Lemonade and other eatbles at Jagdish Chowk area of the city, Guddu use to bought country made single shot pistol from U.P in Rs.10000 and use to supply it to tje prospective customers.

They also revealed that accused Guddu is staying at Udaipur from last 7 years and suppling illegal country made pistols, police is now interrogationing further to known that how many weapons were sold by them over the years and to whom,Rehman added.
