Truck carrying fodder turn turtle, caught fire,driver sustained burnt injuries at Udaipur.

A truck carrying fodder turned turtle and caught fire after its driver lost control on it between Ghasa Palana road while heading towards Himmat Nagar from Haryana  on Monday.

The incidence which took place at around 8 am left the driver injured while the fodder contained in the vehicle got burnt.

However fire tenders from Udaipur Municipal Corporation and Nathdwara fire station rushed to the scene to avoid any untowards incidence.

The truck carrying tones of fodder was on the way to Himmat Nagar from Hariyana when it suddenly overturned at Ghasa village and its cabin hit a tree and caught fire,the fire soon turned huge duringvwhich the driver of the vehicle Lalloo sustained burnt injuries and was later rescued by the locals,said Sajjan Singh SHO Ghasa police station.

Singh further said that the injured was tranported to MB hospital of Udaipur for treatment and the fire was dozed off.

Narendra Singh Chundawat a fireman from Udaipur told DU”We received the information of the mishap st around 9 am after which we headed towards the scene, along with us  another fire tender from Nathdwara fire station also responded on the scene to control the fire but before we reached there entire fodder turned into ashes”.

It took around 45 minutes to  bring the situation under control, apart from that the traffic remains effected in the area,Singh added.
