Seven people booked for not wearing masks in public at Udaipur.

As many as 7 people were arrested by Udaipur Police from different areas of the city on the first day of modified lockdown for voilating the guidelines of lock down and  not wearing masks in public as stipulated by Rajasthan Government.

Section 144 has been imposed in Udaipur amd will remain imposed till May 3 in wake of Covid-19 virus,  it prohibited the gathering of more than four people and also dated the use of face masks in public.

Under all these restrictions 7 people 1 from Hathipol police station circle and 5 others from Hiran Magri police circle were booked by police on Monday and their vehicles were also seized, Sp Kailash Chand Bishnoi said.

All of them voilated the guidelines and were roaming for no essential work, non of them were wearing masks and not carrying passes issued by the administration.

He said that police is constantly been warning the people for not come out of the house without any essential work and also not without face masks, but now it’s time to get strict with such people to control the situation. 

In first incidence the accused was nabbed without face mask at UIT bridge during a road barricating while the 6 others were caught by Hiran Magri police from Dhan Mandi areas.

They all were booked under section 188, 269 of IPC and section 51 of Disaster Management Act 2005 and are all under interrogation.
