Viewing the increasing numbers of corona virus cases in the state a Rapid Responce team has been formed on Medical College Level in Udaipur that will moniter such caseses and keep a tight check on the suspects.
The team was formed under supervision of Principal of Ravindra Nath Tegore Medical College Dr.Lakhan Poswal during a meeting held at the college on Tuesday evening at around 5.30 pm.
The team consist of Senior Proffesor Kirti P.S.M as Nodel Officer, Dr.Gurmeet Kaur, Senior Proffesor Medicine Department Dr.Baldev Meena, Senior Proffesor Microbiology Department Dr.Anshu Sharma, Dr.Gyanendra Mittal,Dr.Vivek Arora, Dr.Jitendra Banjara,Dr.Satyanarayan Vaishnav, Male Nurse Dilip Yadav and Prashant and Dinesh Kumar Regar.
During the meeting the joint director of Medical and Health services Udaipur Z.A Qazi and Chief Medical and health Officer Dr. Dinesh Kharadi were also remained present and has assured the team to lend all support to it regarding the additional services of nursing staff andEpidemiologists to the team.
As per the CMHO office the team will visit all the places and will do surveillance, medical testing, sampling and line listing and in case if any difficult arises than the undersigner either inform the Superintendent of the M.B hospital and Joint Director Zone Udaipur or to the Chief Medical and health Officer.
The meeting at all Medical College level on Tuesday evening at around 5.30 pm during which the decision to form the Rapid Response team was taken, the meeting was held at all Medical College level acting upon the directions of State Government.
Additional District Megistrate OP Bunkar while reacting on the coronavitus suspect case said” A group of Italian National came to Udaipur on 26th February and stayed here at Hotel Trident for 2 days till 28th February morning, during their stay the group went to some of the tourist points including Sahelion ki Badi, City Palace Eklinji Temple and Nakoda Sahas Bahu temple, out of them few had been found with positive reports of Coronavirus and H1N1 at Jaipur”.
Considering that the Rapid Reaponce team has visited the places where they went and the people they came in contact with during their stay at Udaipur and the work disinfection has been started, following that booking for those room of Hotel Trident were also stopped in which they stayed and the rooms will be kept closed till next order of the state government, Bunkar added.
