Kanji ka hata evacuated,74 residents shifted to hostel at Pacific University.

Udaipur’s Kanji ka hata area with maximum number of Coronavirus Covid-19 diseases had been deserted on Sunday after it has become the epicenter of the virus in the city.

More than 74 residents of the area most of the relatives and family members of the people tested positive were shifted tothe hostel of Udaipur’s Pacific University Dabok and qurantined there for a specific time period.

The precautionary action was taken following the directives of WHO which directs that those areas that are highly infected needs to emptied and saniized as the people living in the area should be qurantined for a period of time.

Keeping in view the directives the Kanji ka Hata area which accounts maximum number of positive cases of the city out of total 112 cases was evacuated and 74 residents of the areas which are still having negative reports for coronavirus were shifted to Pacific University at Dabok,said Additional Sp City Gopal Swaroop Mewara. 

Mewara said that the decision was taken with a motive to safeguard those with negative reports from getting infected as well as to break the chain of community spreading.

However with 9 new postive cases the total number of the infected people reached to 112.
