Injured Panther rescued from Amberi village of Udaipur.

An injured male panther was rescued from Amberi village of Udaipur on Sunday.

He was spotted on the lyibg on the road divider in Highway by the passerby eho later informed the police about his presence.

Soon a huge number of villagers gathered on the Highway upon getting the information of Panther, later team of Forest Department Udaipur led by District Forest Officer (DFO) O.P Singh reached on the scene and intiated the rescue operation.

The animal was being tranqulised and shifted to city Sajjangarh Biological Park for treatment.

In the initial investigation it was found that the panther  got hit by a vehicle while crossing the road.
