Four more people arrested for illegally selling Remdisivir injections in Udaipur

The Hiran Magri police on Friday arrested four more accused in relation to the illegal sell and supply of the Remdisivir injections here at Udaipur.

The arrest was made on the information of the previously arrested accused that includes 2 MMBS students Dr. Abir Khan and Mohit Patidar of Udaipur, they during their interrogation revealed the names of 5 of their aides involved with them in the racket of illegal sell of Remdisivir injections, one out of the five accused Chirag Kalal (21) was arrested by the team of police on Thursday along with 4 other accused. While the hunt for the these 4 accused was on, Sp Dr. Rajeev Pachar said.

According to Pachar the arrested accused were identified as Vikas Jat (24), Hargovind Nath (29) and Wasim Khan (27) of Nimbahera area of Chittorgarh and Chirag (21) of Udaipur.

During the investigation it was found that the accused Hargovind and Wasim were working at the Pacific Hospital Umerda and while working there they have stolen the Remdisivir injections from there and sold it to the people on high prices. Accused Wasim had so far sold 92 Remdisivir injections to the people in the market and had earned profit on them and other accused had their involvement in the crime, Pachar added.

With these five accused a total of 11 accused involved in the illegal sell of the Remdisivir injections and the operation against such illegal sell of the injections is still on.
