DSA of Allahabad Bank held with bribe at Udaipur.

The Anti Corruption Bureau of Udaipur held an authorised DSA of Allahabad Bank for demanding and accepting a bribe amount of Rs.20000 from the complainant for senctioning a home loan.

According to Sudhir Joshi Additional Sp ACB the accused who was identified as Dharmendra Verma (28) a resident of Bhuwana area has demanded Rs.70000 as commision from the  complainant Mahipal Singh Rao for senctioning a home loan on his name of Rs.17. Lakhs.

The accused kept on calling Rao for the amount and after number negotiations the amount was finalised on Rs. 45000, Adsp Joshi said.

Fed up with the demands of the accused  the victim filled a complaint with ACB on Tuesday. 

Following victim’s complaint ACB team launran investigation into it and arrested the accused while he was accepting Rs.20000 as an installment of the total demanded amount.

According to Joshi victim has purchased a flat under Rajasthan Awami Mandal scheme and has applied for home loan at Allahabad Bank of Rs.17.5 lakhs but the accused Dharmendra the Direct Sales Agent has demanded 12% of the amount  as commission.

However the ACB has arrested the accused and booked him under sections of Anti Corruption Act.

The team is now conducting a house search ay yhe house of the accused and also interrogating him further in relation to the crime.
