A 48 year old woman suffering from cancer from Udaipur’s Gayriawas area who was admitted to Isolation ward of the M.B hospital on 28th April after she was tested positive dies on Sunday night somewhere linked to coronavirus disease.
The woman a resident of Gayriawas was suffering from multiple organ cancer was admitted to the hospital with infection however was shifted to the coronavirus negative ward as she turned negative on the very second day of admittion, said Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr.Dinesh Kharadi.
As per Kharadi the woman hails from the Sub City Cemter located at Gayriawas and husband was working as an accountant at wholesale grain market (Krishi Mandi), her house was seized and curfew was imposed in the entire area under Hiran Magri police station circle.
He further said that she was kept at the coronavirus negative ward from last 16 days since she turned negative for coronavirus disease.
However the news of her death spread in the city a wild fire with rumors claiming that she died of coronavirus.
Reacting on the all the rumors DrKharadi denies all claims amd confirmed that she died due to cancer and it was not a death due to coronavirus disease.
