A 40 year old inmate had commited suicide by hanging himself with a rope he made from a towel early Thursday mornkng inside the Jhadol Jail of Udaipur,said Deputy Sp Jhadol Devaram Choudhary.
He was pulled down and rushed to the nearby hospital where was declared brought dead by the doctors.
According to Choudhary Amraram a resident of Barbali village of Ogna area of Udaipur was found hanging from the gate of the special cell located near his barrack.
Asper Choudhary it was late Wednesday night when he made a rope out of his towel and hanged himself.
Jhadol SDM Parbat Singh,Senior officials of the Jail and others rushed to the scene to take the stock of the situation, the body was shifted to Mortuary of Jhadol hospital and relatives of the deceased were informed.
A Medical Board has been constituted that will conduct the otopsy in presence of the Additional District Megistrate,Choudhary added.
Amraram was an under trial prisoner of a murder case and was lodged into the Jhadol Jail since 9th.April 2019.
However his death is still s mystry and a part of investigation but the initial investigation revealed that he was staying in depression from last few days.
The further investigation of the matter will be done by the Megistrate,Choudhary added.
However no one from the Jail Administration has receated on the incidence yet.
