As many as 59 labours including 8 child labours who were wroking at hotels, restaurants and shops were rescued by the Anti Human Trafficking Unit along with the representatives of Asra Seva Santhan under the Bachpan Bachao drive on Tuesday.
The labours were rescused manily from the Rathodo ka Guda area near BSF Camp at Sukher area while they were working on a brick factory (Eth Batthi).
During the screening of the rescued labours 11 were men, 15 were women with 5 of their kids ,8 minor girls 10 minor boys while 3 of the kids were found abandoned during the rescue operation.
The rescue team comprises of police officials from Sukher police station, Dhan Mandi police station, Anti Human Trafficking and representatives of Asra Sewa Sansthan.
Acting upon the tipoff rescue team conducted a raid at the brick factory on Tuesday and rescued the labours.
The employer has been booked for forcing the labours to work at the factory as bonded labours and those rescued were initially send to shelter home.
