Over 334 young swimmers are taking part in the 17th National Para swimming championship held at Udaipur’s Khelgaon.
The three days event was inaugurated on Sunday by Union Minister Rao Inderjeet Singh,where as president of Sindhi Academy Harish Rajani,Collector Bishnu Charan Mallick ,Padam Shree Kaliash Manav also remained present on the occasion.
The event which is organized by Narayan Seva Santhan,Indian Paralimpik Committe and Para Sports Association of Rajasthan and Khelgaon Society will give a chance to the young disabled swimmers of the country to take part in a National Competition.
Besides Rajasthan swimmers from 25 other states includingDelhi,Chandigarh,Goa,Gujarat,Haryana,Jharkhand,Madhya Pradesh,Karnataka and Maharastra.
Addressing the crowd Minister Rao Inderjeet Singh had also appreciated the participants, he said that such events will provide a platform to disabled to display their talent and also a give chance that they are not less than any normal person in any aspect.
He further added that if with Government society will also contributed towards the growth of disabled people than they will get fair chance to polish their talent.
