Filled with excitement and energy the citizens of Udaipur has gathered in large numbers at various public parks, community halls and schools to mark the third International Yoga Day on Wednesday.
Despite of pre- dawn showers the citizens has celebrated the day at various of the country.
To be a part of this international event Impitus a local NGO also marked the auspicious day with more than 300 participants including children from various shelter houses, orphanages and Ryan School of Udaipur.
On the occasion a yoga session was conducted at the school compound under the supervision of yoga trainer Rati Sunil and Dr. Alka.
The Impitus team educated the children about the importance Yoga in once life and also advised them to adopt Yoga in their routine to stay fit and to have good health.
A part from children, Manju Laxmi President,Impetus,Gaurav Dhakad,Management Consultant and other Yoga Enthusiasts including Ayushman,Jyotsna,Parul,Teena,Preeti,Shelly,Sharda,Sheetal,Runika and Shanu were present in the event.
The event was effective and was enjoyed by all that have participated in it.
The school compound too was decorated by display art work on the walls and covering the whole area with a clean and colorful mattresses.
June 21st was adopted as International Yoga days by United Nation first in 2014, the first session of the International was held at UN head quarters in 2015 and its second edition was led by Shri Shri Ravi Shankar that was held at European Parliament in 2016.
